I have almost 100,000kms on mine now and other then tires, summer and winters, oil changes have been the only non warranty thing i've had to deal with, it just depends how you drive and when, if it's parked for the winter you'll save on winter tires.

I don't want to be that guy!

Oil changes. Buy one of the maintenance plans. You get all those $120 oil changes for three years and $500 at the dealership.

i bought a maintenance plan also. hope i made the right choice...
but yes the oil changes are free every 3750 miles

Definitely tires will be one of the bigger ones, especially if you're a spirited driver

Last service check I did was around $450 which included brakes, oil change and some other stuff. Might have been Service pack #2

For me I noticed more intangibles that increased:

I didn't like parking the Z near the subway as much anymore unless I had the perfect park, so this caused me to park downtown near work more.

So if it wasn't the $8 early bird a few blocks away then it was $19 for the premium underground right near work. Lets just say, it added up quick lol.

Then I had a few "baller" days where I paid the meter right infront...$26 lol, not smart...will be cutting down on that this spring/summer

Temptation to put in 94 Octane since its available.

I bet you will joyride a lot more, so you'll be buying lots of gas

An oil change with Redline 5W-30 and a Mobil 1 110 size filter costs me about $85-90 for materials and a half hour of time. I go 5K between changes. I had to replace the original 19" Potenzas at 18K miles to the tune of about $1700. (Replaced with Michelin Pilot Super Sports which hopefully will go at least 25K miles...)
Also changed the air filters at 15K miles myself, cost was about $25-30. The car has 22K miles now and has not seen dealer service yet. Maybe will have the transmission and rear end oils changed by the dealer when the maintenance schedule calls for it, and I may even do that myself. It's not a cheap car to own nor maintain. It's a thoroughbred sports car, deal with it and enjoy it and don't whine. You'll enjoy it.

Tires are the killer. I change my own brake pads and oil so there's not a whole lot else other than those damn tires!!

I bought my 370Z new last May and have not spent a dime on anything but gas, insurance and payments. My dealer gave me lifetime oil changes! Work it into your deal man!

There are some more economical cars out there like the Civic, Elantra, Focus, etc. Super cheap to keep on the road.
