i do the drain and fill. nissan recommended on my G (green coolant) that after the 4th year i drain and fill every 2yrs. so ive been doing that. in fact, it's due for a drain and fill this spring. 
for the Z's coolant it has that blue extended coolant so i dont expect to drain and fill for 6-7yrs.
