mjg- nice detail. take some snaps in daylight when you get a chance.


i cleaned my salt caked G with SOCW...not bad. the rear bumper and lower rockers were slightly stained from the salt/dirt crappage but wasnt as bad i thought. i took my time so it was almost 50min work. the roads are still salty so didn't feel like getting a autowash this week. maybe next week.

thanks for the comments..if the weather is nice this weekend, I'm going back, taking it out for a photo shoot, and stare for a few hours... and drive it if they actually cleaned up the sand/salt (over one freaking day of snow wow) It cleared up in a day!!

I guess this will actually be my second upgrade.. the first was stoptech slotted rotors & pads after I destroyed the stock brakes on my first track day in November. I managed to hit limp mode, ice mode, fuel starvation, and completely burn out the brakes all in the same day

Today: checked my steering lock. It's rev C so I think I'm ok. Drove hard, because hey, gotta use up these tires before the new ones go on

sounds good. yah, im not ashamed of staring at my car in an empty parking lot. ive had cops and security folks come drive up to check on me if i was okay. ended up the cop also stared at my car for a couple of minutes before he left.

hello everyone.

i got to look at my G this am after the SOCW session last night. while it was a royal PITA for me cleaning the car for 50min, im happy to report that i am very glad and happy i did it. car looked good this am (not great as in summer months beauty but good enough for winter).

im going to have to wash the wheelwells with my brush come spring. ikkk...

pop chargers are ventury cones. it has inlet in the front and the side of the cone. a unique design and sound.

Hello, Mr. Kenchan. I think this steering lock mechanism failure thing is bumming me out. I walked by my Z this to lock up the dogs in the "playhouse" (a room built on the back of the garage) and I see the key light glowing -- reminding me.

November was my very first track experience, so I have nothing to compare it to, but I had fun and plan to try it some more this year. Not competitive, just driving schools (BMW GGC) but I'll probably go to Laguna Seca in a few weeks, and am excited for lots of AutoX starting in April.

For those that know me, know my brother Hal. He is going into surgery tomorrow and will be there 3-6 days and then 3-6 weeks for recovery. Thank you all who have already expressed concern and prayers that all goes well. Pre-op is today.
