As soon as all thats in and I get my car back I can plan a day for my enormous install. Gonna do pads, rotors, brakelines, oil change, diff oil change, sway bars and Koni's all in one day.

I just recently discovered it. I figured since it was non-premium it'd be full of newbs but that's not the case at all. I like it.

Yeah unfortunately the site has been sliding towards "that other z site" as far as maturity level goes. I'm really surprised the kids haven't found this thread yet. I couldn't believe how well this thread was going along with it being in the non-premium section!

yah, i hope it stays this way too. this is like the only thread i really visit these days. the other forums at this site are like the same ol stupid questions over and over and sophmores re-posting answers we posted yrs ago. it gets tiring after a while.

and i do not plan on becoming a premium member (i never do at forums, instead i give my experience and knowledge in return) so i guess my time might be limited. :icon17:

I'm still at my parents house... after dinner I'm going to drive home and enjoy a cigar and Sam Adams to celebrate my accomplishment. Washed, clayed, polished, and sealed in about 7 hours.

I only did the outside, and the clear coat on this car is so nice you don't have to spend much time at all correcting swirls. Believe it or not I have had this car for 18 months and 28,000 miles and this is the first time I polished it. There were like two swirls on the entire car. :icon18:

The S2000 on the other hand... I am going to need to spend a good 12 hours or so on it. And it's much smaller!

Hey Ken, I went down Friday and showed the tech exactally what was wrong. He kinda tried to tell me "thats just the way it is" and "new trans' feel notchy" I was like I dont mind notchy but this is just straight up wrong. Then we went out front and sat in a new 370. After both rowing thru the gears he agreed something was in fact wrong with mine. So I suppose they are working on locating and fixing the prob.

Alchemy 04-07-2012 05:55 PM

wow guys, I like a clean car but I would never spend that much time on it. 16-20 hrs Ken:icon14: HOLY UHFJHBLKJBU!!!!!!!!

I'm super glad to hear this. It means that even though you have been going through some hardships of late, the love is still there! I feel a big community hug coming on!

PSS is a street tire that reaches up towards the track category in terms of dry grip, but it won't hold up to track conditions as well as the RE-11 and it won't have the same maximum grip. You could probably chunk a set of PSS in HPDE if you're real fast.

PSS is an amazing tire. The best for the street, IMO. But I'm not gonna say it will conquer the track... because it won't. Not repeatedly, anyways.

As I have spent no time on the track this is something I would never have been able to comment upon. I think with respect to your statements then, Mr. Brucelidat is absolutely correct to proceed with the purchase of the RE-11s.

I have spoken. :icon17:
