Good morning guys, Happy Saturday. :hello:

if you use the Griot's clay (the one i use) it wont mar. it's super soft. that's all i use these days. i use meguiar's maroon bottle cheezy QD as lube and wear disposable gloves.

mr.alcheng- loooks good! i too like the 3rd pict.

Griot's clay is good stuff. I used it today. I just use Adam's quick detailer as lube because I like how it smells. :icon17:

For track use, RE-11 > PSS.

PSS is a street tire that reaches up towards the track category in terms of dry grip, but it won't hold up to track conditions as well as the RE-11 and it won't have the same maximum grip. You could probably chunk a set of PSS in HPDE if you're real fast.

PSS is an amazing tire. The best for the street, IMO. But I'm not gonna say it will conquer the track... because it won't. Not repeatedly, anyways.

I only installed lip kit, canards, custom hood, and XP10's. Look for pics tomorrow. It is sweet.

Even though my Z is stranded at the dealership until the trans get straightened out I still cant shake the mod bug. Just placed an order with Z1

Z1 SS brakelines
Eneos 75w90 gear oil
Eneos 5w30
Oil and diff crush washers
Motul RBF 600 brake fluid
OEM oil filter

As soon as all thats in and I get my car back I can plan a day for my enormous install. Gonna do pads, rotors, brakelines, oil change, diff oil change, sway bars and Koni's all in one day.

Yeah unfortunately the site has been sliding towards "that other z site" as far as maturity level goes. I'm really surprised the kids haven't found this thread yet. I couldn't believe how well this thread was going along with it being in the non-premium section when I first checked it out!
