Yup, just checked it out! In Tennessee you have to have a permit to carry in your car.
Apparently in Florida (unbeknownst to me), it has to only be "securely encased". "Securely encased" means in a glove compartment, whether or not locked; snapped in a holster; in a gun case, whether or not locked; in a zippered gun case; or in a closed box or container which requires a lid or cover to be opened for access. Nice! I wouldn't mind putting my Berretta in a holster as you did! :) |
What Berretta do you have Happy? One of the nicest guns I've fired was a friends Taurus .357 magnum with 6" chrome barrel.
