What did you do with your Z today II

You're thinking of the one I don't like...the pressurized system. Mine is gravitational pull...it makes vacuum at the beginning like a syphon. There is no pressure on the system.

Not a Z anymore, but just wanted to give a shout out to the Michelin PSS and Koni Yellows. Got them on the 5.0 and they are fabulous

You know what you are talking about. The combination of PSS, Koni and Swift (that I happen to have) is likely the best setup for all-around driving. This is my learned opinion only.

It would be a formidable track setup too when you crank the stiffness on up a bit.

I just love how much better the Konis are at damping compared to the OEM Tokicos. I guess you could say it's rather...

I think I might go for swifts+konis over full coilovers becauase I'm not sure I need that much adj.

and everyone seems to rave about the konis

If you are happy with the drop the Swifts provide then that is a very solid setup. The Konis have enough adjustability to keep almost everyone happy.

I'll have an FI exhaust next week I think (Tony hasn't updated the list in 2 weeks) so I'm not sure how much I can drop safely. Plus im not looking for the "slammed" look. I just feel like too much wheel well is visible.

Chicagoland has some good roads and then some really terrible roads where the the middle part of the road is much higher than where wheels contact.

Tony changed the design on the FI so it sits up higher now, so you should be good to go on Swifts. Might want to wait 'til you get the exhaust on to be sure, though.
