Oh ya...The Pro Touring of my Z/28 cost me parts and labor, and a Kitchen upgrade, and a 370Z...

And I am in Money management and investing...

I think the wife burned me good, haha.

To stay with the thread, Today I realized that I won't be driving the 370Z yet..

The Wife says it feels heavier and more rock solid. Not as neck snapping and brutal as the 350Z. She say maybe feels slower.

She in in love with it, and i told her it is actually lighter and more rigid now, and 50 HP more.

Maybe the new smoother tranny and engine is fooling Her ???

I don't know. I HAVEN"T DRIVEN IT YET... But I did Buy it...

Many feel that the 370z is slower than the 350z, but this is due to the torque delivery. If you take a look at the torque curve it's very smooth, it doesn't peak. So many feel this as being slower since they don't feel the jolt. But in reality you're getting a much more efficient delivery of torque. Don't be fooled, the 370z is faster :)

Bingo, we have a winner...

I am experiencing something similar with my Crazy Z/28. With the new electronic Ignition, the power band is smoother and not as if someone snapped a rubber band... The Head Mechanic was explaining the same thing. I did all mods for steering, suspension, braking and general restoration, and added maybe 40 HP to 450Hp or so, but it felt slower...It is not..I also dropped over a hundred pounds on tubular aarms, aluminum parts, ectt...

Similar the 370Z has that new tranny and will not feel as "peaky", or the snap of the rubber band..

It will take getting used to . I kinda like that pin your eyeballs to the back of your head and see if your man enough to keep your foot to the floor feeling...

But smooth is good.. If I ever drive it...

Regarding the torque, I feel the same thing too, especially below 3500rpm, but getting used to it, it feel smoother in higher rpm, at least less vibration.

Good Morning Z fellows!!!! :tiphat: :tiphat:
