Car wars- Mustang, 370's, Camaros, Challengers...
 

I know this is a 370z site but just getting outside opinions. I ask that you offer some objective opinions on other cars.

I have a 3.7 L mustang (only 18, want my 5.0 already though) and I think it is a very impressive car. It looks good and in my opinion looks better than the camaro.

I think the 5.0 Mustangs are amazingly nice cars. I have lurked here a bit and it seems that the 370 guys are a little envious of the power of the mustang. It seems that yall say the mustang is brute power, but it is actually a very nimble car for what it is. Tons of aftermarket suspension is available and these things can handle.

370z are really nice cars. I wouldn't mind owning one myself. They are good handling and make nice power. Very quick cars and are pretty beastly with people slapping tt's on them. I think they look really nice too and look closest to the porsche. But the interior in my opinion is definitely the weak link of the car for me and where you see its a Nissan. They really need to work on that, get rid of that orange on all the gauges and stuff and mellow it out. Simplicity is sometimes the best way to go.

Camaro in my opinion looks pretty fugly. Especially in yellow and that horrendous lime green. Yall think the Nissan can outhandle the Mustang?
I think the camaro would look pretty foolish. Overall they are impressive with their horsepower numbers, but just not my thing. Along with the Z, the interior needs work definitely.

Challenger, well they should not even be mentioned with any of these cars. Gigantic cars. Overweight. Terrible hp numbers. Terrible handling. Nice interior, which makes their owners turn to the ''its more of a luxury car" defense. Luxury? Not with that Dodge emblem on the car.

If you aren't going to add anything constructive you don't need to be here. This is a 370Z forum first and foremost so of course there is going to be a bias towards the Z. But that doesn't warrant starting an account just to troll.

Why would you want the 5.0 Mustang if you already have the best Mustang ever, the 3.7L - what is this, the eighties? Everyone knows that a Mustang belongs in V6 trim, durrhhhhh.

Ferrari's suck too. I mean, look at this interior! $1,000,000 for a car and I have to roll up the window with MY HAND! And the sound system PSHT! Doesn't even have a radio :shakes head:

I said the thing I didn't like about the Z, the one thing, was the interior... sensitive much?

Also poster, the ferarri is in a different class so who cares. As much as we all love our cars and some drive them only on weekends, they are DD for the most part, so I feel the interior is important. The Mustang interior could definitely use a buff as well.

It is not a troll account. If me hating on the camaro for its looks, and the challenger for being junk, is trolling, then idk.

I guess yall missed the part where I said yalls cars are nice looking, and look like a porsche. (Just like my lowly 300hp v6 will never be a Shelby, the Z will never be a porsche AND THATS OKAY, NO REASON TO CRY)

my wife has a v6 mustang. it is really nice. but i probably see maybe 1-2 mustangs per minute at any given time while driving. so when everyone and their grandma has a mustang, who really cares anymore. so go drive away in your mustang, we won't even look twice

I'm not being sensitive cuz I think the 5.0 is a sweet motor. But ragging on the interior of the 370Z? The mustang interior is has that retro look mixed with hard plastic. Hardly a a good combo. I'd venture to the say the 370z has the best interior of the bunch!

To me it sounds like youre smacking yourself for not buying the 5.0 and you are mad that your. 3.7 isn't fast enough to talk smack to us, so you're compensating with 5.0 worship. Sexondly,you're reacting to the comment I made in another thread. I said the "Drivers Compensate Skill" for brute force. In that same thread I disputed the mustang as being a real sports car and for those who don't believe??? Test a 302BOSS.
As far as v8 envy, you're on the wrong site bruh... our v6's at 3.7 ltrs are seeing four and a half second sprints to 60 and 13 second quarters with automatic Z's that only have aftermarket air filters and premium synthetic. Full bolt on Z's get 12.6 quarter time!!! NO f.I. needed, We do it on a v6POWER? Show us another v6 doing it under $45k??? Definately not your 3.7.
Honestly, looks wise, both challenger and camaro look wayyyyy better UNLESS its my baby, the BOSS... She's the hottest mustang in 38 years.... But neither are f**kin with the Ford 5.0 powerplant.
As far as our v6's. I think most of us are just happy to be driving a 6 that for the most part compares to v8 power in track times.. we don't have to beat or be jealous of 5.0's. We give challenger R/T's and camaro SS's something to worry about with a third less displacement. So where's the envy??? Lastly, we actually hit the 1g mark. Not almost? Not close. The. 11's and up hit it with the sport pkg. If we had to envy anyone on this planet of cars. The only car to envy when you drive a Z.... A Porsche. And honestly. Not feeling much envy when I see porsche's. :driving:

Go easy on the kid, he's probably not old enough to vote. Troll or not, his opinions on automotive knowledge is probably lacking. (no offense OP). At the end of the day, they are just that, opinions. No one here is really flaming on the Mustang OP, so if that's what you're thinking, I think you should move on.

OP, there are plenty of Mustang vs. 370z threads on here you can browse through, although most will probably be locked. You come across as a bit defensive and combative, which is probably why so many people are giving you crap. Saying stuff like "the interior in my opinion is definitely the weak link of the car for me and where you see its a Nissan" is not gonna win you points on a NISSAN forum. That Ford logo isn't any better. My guess is you've probably never been inside a Z and have only seen pictures.

general consensus form reviews by individuals and mags is that the 370's interior is pretty nice so if that's the OP's main gripe and he IF he is not a troll, maybe he is confusing it with the 350's interior which I hear was awful

If anything, it seems to me like the OP has Z envy if he just got a stang but is on our forums and now is looking for external justification for his decision. he si also very loosely and incorrectly associating members who switched to stangs with his car. I haven't seen any members who switched to v6 stangs, only to the 5.0 which we all acknowledge as a great car.

For a second there I thought he was going to do the old Batman theme song, na na na na na na... Batman! :rofl2:
