Glad to see that after a slow start, this thread has begun to pick up some steam.

Just gonna sit back and :drama: until she reaches her dramatic conclusion. :happydance:

Not gonna read through every page but lol at this OP... I find the Zs interior to be much nicer than the mustang unless the fact you can change your interior light colors is all you need.. As for which is a better "sports" car I'd take the Z hands down

You're Mr. I had one first.
You're Mr. I'm not only a member, I'm also the president.
And you bought the stang cuz it was sooooooooo much better than the Z that in spite of your "loooooove" for the Z you just had to buy the greatest car on the planet. And sorry that none of us know as much as you. Even if we been up against your cars and know a little something. Just a little. Like I asked before... how many stangs did you own before you went to a Z and then bought a Stang? A reason why I ask... you will find what you drive more to handle better if in fact you been behind one so long that its almost all you know as a vehicle. Now I know you came on here already with your AR and mustang praise... so I know you're experience with mustangs is way more than Z's in a time factor.

Fanboys only love their cars. There's a lot of cars I love equally or more than the Z.
But whatever.... you keep talkin' it.

Sorry man, but you can't put down made up numbers to support your argument and then tell me to go find proof to prove you wrong. That's not how it works.

Face it, there isn't an article. You made the numbers up to try and support your argument and you didn't count on people calling your bluff. Since you can't produce anything to support your claims, you are trying to spin it and pawn it off on me.

The rest of your post... I don't really know what all that means or how you even got to that point.

You are the one that implied I was a Mustang fanboy. To counter, I simply stated all of the things that I do involving the 370Z community because I still love the car and am still good friends with the people.

I love this part. When did I ever say I traded the car because the 5.0 was better? I am on record here saying the only reason I traded was because I had a lot of fun with the Z and wanted to try out a new ride. And guess what... I'm going to do the same thing with the Mustang when I trade it in on something else.

You're getting very defensive, Unknown. We all know why.

can't we all just get along?

So it changed from "it's in a motor trend article" to "you prove me wrong?"

Life pro tip: burden of proof is on YOU.

side note: I've never owned a mustang before, and I echo mustang's sentiments. Riddle me that one.

Maybe it's because we're still Z fans, and we have lots of Z friends here, and people like you continue to pull numbers out of their asses and it keeps us around. Imagine that.

I was messin with them at the moment of that post... at least the one you quoted... they are HUGE contributors and many of you should be greatful they are here... but that's a genral statement has little to do with this generic thread.

My 300zx ran an 8 second quarter mile. I dont have the time slip, but you can't find a time slip to prove that i didn't run an 8 so therefore i did run an 8. i win. you lose.

I'm still waiting on that article. You're not going to back away from this one.

Its one of em' I read em all so its hard to remember. I read automobile, MT, C&D, R&T, IT, Dsport, Lowrider, modified and the audio tuner one... can't remember the name right now...
Didn't both of you buy Red " non-sport Z's and add your own everything??? Weren't you the one who barely drove your Z cuz it was always in the shop and got rid of it cuz it was a complete lemon? Everything was breaking down on it... am I wrong? Didn't you trade your Z with very little miles on it for a mustang due to your 370z saga???

Hm. I ran an 8 second quarter mile too, but all I have is this 7 second time slip. Will you accept that?

I put about 15k on my z, more than enough to be familiar with it.

More important than raw miles is the closed course time seen anyways...

Way to try to spin out of this one.

If you bring the numbers, YOU need to back them up with the source. At this point it's painfully obvious you pulled them all right out of your rear end and are trying as hard as you can to deflect so you won't look any more ignorant.

As far as my Z... it was a Sport + Touring, no nav.
