I've had good experiences with cops who have treated me with professionally and politely, and I've had bad experiences with cops who have behaved like bullies with badges. The good ones make me want to shake their hands and thank them for laying it on the line day in, day out. The bad ones make me feel tempted to reach for my own gun and do something I'd inevitably regret, regardless of the outcome. Thankfully, I've been able to resist this temptation. I just keep reminding myself -- There are no do-overs . . . there are no do-overs . . .

Apparently this trooper was having a bad day and had to take it out on somebody.

It's also true that "aggressive driving" is the new politically incorrect way to drive these days and the bar between "nice driving" and what actions constitute "aggressive driving" seems to be getting thinner and thinner all the time...I suspect it won't be long until states (likely starting in California) start requiring manufacturers to install "mood monitors" so that even having the wrong thoughts are reason to pull you over.
