You might think about buying an older, cheaper rear wheel drive car at this stage.
It depends on the driver. Have you any experience with RWD ? I drove rear wheel drive year-around in Colorado with all-season tires. It took some finesse, but it was no problem as long as i understood the limits of traction/grip. Unlike your Civic Si, the weight of the engine will not be over the driven wheels for more traction. |
