Ate you speaking of the different colored finisher rings? They are simply to make a nicer visual transition to the shift boot.

No I was talking about the washers that people are going out and buying. Not the one that comes with the shift knob.

I have had one too many egg nogs. One of presents (to myself) was the knob. I loveee the weight. However there were a few imperfections in the engraving, but nothing I can't live with, and would still repeat the purchase if I could. Looking forward to the diffuser. I hope it's going to be better than evo-R's. (not that that would be hard). Haha.

My engraving looks perfecto, sorry to hear yours isn't. The weight is great

I haven't installed it yet as I'm away from my car, but the weight is amazing. A big thing that I like about it is how the center of gravity is VERY high up on the knob, which I am certain adds even more to the great shifting feel found in weighted knobs like these.
the engraving flaws on mine are hardly noticable. I am sure PJDM would replace it if I wanted (with their exceptional customer service) but it's honestly not noticable enough for it to be worth the trouble.
You got a repeated customer PJDM!

Edit: ^ it's twice as heavy as the stock knob

Thanks for brining that up for me. I looked through the whole thread and must have just over looked it. Waiting to get the right tools now to take off the oem knob, two pliers isn't quite getting it : /

Nope, strap wrench and channel locks is what it took for me. Be sure to wrap the shaft with a towel so you don't scratch it. Also, it helps to wrap the knob with painters tape then duct tape for extra grip.

How does the weight compare to stock knob? The stock knob is pretty comfortable IMO, it's just not really pleasing to look at.

Thanks man. My dad isn't much of a handy person so it looks like I am going to have to make a run to a hardware store and pick up the tools needed. I will give it a shot today and post some pics.

This made it really easy to remove.

Got my O-rings in the mail on Saturday and installed the PWJDM Shift Knob today. First impression after a spirited drive...AWESOME! I have a large hand and was a little worried that it wasn't going to be conducive to palm shifting, but I knew right away as I was pulling out of the garage that it was perfect!

Great job PWJDM!!
