Mainly I want slightly more sound, no drone, and not to compromise my warranty in any way.z1 sells it for $200 less or so, but warranty is only preserved if you buy at time of purchase per Nissan website info as I understand it.

It's only an exhaust, there's nothing on the warranty that can be voided by installing one. And if your never going to mod the 370Z, just keep the Z06. And the nismo exhaust is mainly going to be for sound, it's overpriced & doesn't produce ****.

Has Nissan had a history for warranty blocking drive-lines? GM will block you for a CAI. What is Nissan's philosophy, and has anyone had their engine replaced, regardless of a minor mod? Exactly, sound is good enough, but from what I have heard the Berk CB is good, and has NO drone. Thoughts? Will Nissan block my driveline warranty for that? |

Just keep your stock exhaust in storage for peace of mind. If you ever need to go in for service it's an easy swap.

The FI CBE will give you up to 20whp, but in my experience it drones quite a lot under load. The Stillen CBE is also good for nearly the same gains. It's quieter than FI. Not really sure on any drone. Berk should be in the same range power wise and from what I have experienced there is NO drone with just the Berk CBE. I installed b1adesofcha0s' system and rode along / drove it a bit and liked what I heard. Not really sure on the others. I have seen dyno charts on the NISMO CBE showing around 8-12whp, and I know for a fact there is absolutely zero drone with those systems. The only downside is they aren't quite as loud as the other options. For a DD I lean towards Berk or NISMO depending on the sound you want.
