Is my climate control broken?

Well, it's now fixed. It wasn't easy. Had to take it to the dealer, which was initially a waste of time... called up, made an appointment and brought it in

Well, it's now fixed. It wasn't easy.

Had to take it to the dealer, which was initially a waste of time... called up, made an appointment and brought it in on a Saturday, when I got there the service advisor told me they couldn't do this kind of work on a weekend. So he told me he would contact nissan re: my problem and call me back to schedule an appointment. I didn't get a call back, so a week later I called him and he had me come in this week on Wednesday. Brought the car in, Wednesday evening I got a call that it was done. Instead of waiting for the part to arrive they ordered they took it from an unsold new 370z. The dealer did pay for a rental car for me, so that wasn't too bad.

I got my car back this morning and now the climate control is all working as expected

Glad you got it fixed. I just seem to leave mine off most of the time, doesn't seem quite as intelligent as the one in the Infiniti.

Thanks for the update, and glad that they gave you a loaner. What was the problem?

The A/C always ran, full blast, fans on high. Couldn't turn off the A/C or the fans or switch to heat or even use the defrost functions. It was just always on prior to being fixed.
