You'll be OK in Austin as long as you keep it sane on the freeway. I don't think I've even been glanced at by the troopers or APD. I think they get more satisfaction by pulling over soccer moms in their SUVs -- at least that's what I see pulled over most of the time on Mopac
 . Perhaps it's part of that "Keep Austin Weird" thing.

I went from a 2007 Charger R/T to a Trailblazer SS to a 370z..
Definitely not a family car. I think you would regret not getting a car with a backseat.. AUDI S5
