Even 09s are going for cheap 2009 1LT Coupe With Z51 Dual Mode Comp Gray Only $41,499 At Boardwalk Chevrolet! - Corvette Forum
I came very close to buying that 08 model. It was jet stream blue, but in the end we were still about $4k apart in price and I know how fast they depreciate so I walked.

That's an amazing price. A much more realistic price.

for those who had vettes and now have 370z or have driven both, what made you decide on the 370?

reason i ask is because i was gonna buy a vette this spring. economy and gm situation put that on hold perhaps permanently.

what i'd like is the power of the vette in the z. but alas.... is not to be..

so how about some comparison info?

well, I have been a corvette fan for all of my life. I had a 58, 64 small block with air, 70 454, c6 vert, c5 z06 commemorative. Loved them all. But,,, the new nissan z is really something special. The car just looks terrific. The interior is outstanding. Those 19 inch wheels are excellent. It has to be one of the best values on the market today for such a great sports car. Now if they would just put on twin turbos or supercharged it, I would get it in a second.
