I wouldn't think you would be out of warranty yet. Let the dealer deal with it.

I'm kinda suspicious of the outside air temp gauge honestly. Mine does move around with conditions, but it often seems to have a limited response to real conditions, and a very slow one as well. I suspect they use a slow desensitized sensor intentionally, probably because it's an input to the A/C's computer and they don't want the A/C jumping around in response to quick variations.

I noticed that when I first got mine, the one in my 350 was pretty accurate! The other day mine read 106 when I first started the car and gradually dropped down to 91.

I agree it's not so accurate. I started my car yesterday and it showed 67 degrees outside. 5 miles later it's showing me 89 degrees! Not a big deal for me though.

Agree on the accuracy. I didn't have good luck with the 350 either. I was assuming because it was getting heat from the car itself, but I don't know for sure.

Mine actually seems very accurate. It does pick up the ambient temperature, so sitting in the sun at work on a hot day will read hotter as it picks up the temp coming off the pavement, once I start moving it drops to the normal outside air temp.

i mean how accurate do you expect it to get. especially if the car been sitting in the sun all day. but mine doesnt seem to be too far off.

Mine does the same thing. It likes to "stick" at a current temp for a while. Its odd.

Mine seems to work. Every time I pull out of the garage I can see it does exact same thing as my old 350Z. Jumps or falls by the appropriate number. Same if parked in the sun.

It's accurate enough.. I've passed signs that show outside air temp and they've been within 1-2 degrees of each other.

A temp sensor not moving = go to the dealer.

Mine usually starts +5 and then after a few minutes of driving drops off, when it has been in the sun. If it has been in the shade it is usually +/-2 and then settles into a position.
