Dip stick reading after oil change at dealership

haha,i can. but i have 9 free oil change tickets from that dealership and i am too cheap to pass on it LOL

The whole point about this thread is that he JUST had his oil changed and it was reading a little above L when he checked it..

Again, for 120 miles it should be no reason for that!

exactly ^

but then again i did check it while it was only 3~4 hours from shut off.
with that amount of time,the engine should cool off pretty fast but being 118 degree all day and night, ill let it pass

i let it sit overnight and in the morning the oil reading is spot on.

I'm still confused as to what is going on? I took my car to auto-X and was kept running a good 45 minutes straight on 90 second courses. I just my oil ever finish and it would be about half point. when finally cool, it'll be like 3mm away from full.
