Just buy a IS 350 for the luxury, and then keep the z for the fun! They add up to be about the same price as the IS-F

And although it's got a 5 liter V8 and supposedly can run a mid 12 in the 1/4 mile stock... it doesn't seem that fast and even with the paddle shifters is kind of boring to drive.

Interior is prestine. I love the luxury feel of it and when you do want to step on it.... it definitely goes. The handling is also amazing for the 2011's. Lexus really stepped their game up on the IS-F in that respect.

The question is... is it worth 60k+ and worth getting rid of "Lola".
Hey man a co worker of mine had the IS-F for 5 months and traded it for a Z actually. He said the car was really boring after a few months of ownership, i took him out in my Z and two weeks later he got an '10 370z sport. He said that the Z was just more of a sportier "fun" car and that the IS-F lacked any of that. Also, i agree with some of the other members, if you are looking at cars in the 60k range go for the best, BMW M3 or perhaps even a CTS-V with 556 HP!!!!

Although, the ISF is really nice but if you're looking for something sportier, the cts-v could be considered as an option as well

Don't get it, you will regret it. I'm nit basing that on the car but from reading your original post. If you want something else, wait til you find something that moves you.

IMO there's nothing 'sporty' about a 4 door sedan. The IS-F is a great car for a family man that needs a couple extra seats and works an exec gig where he needs to truck around clients from time to time. If the above scenario is NOT describing you then I would rather have a Cadillac CTS-V for the same amount of $$ if you're just looking for a change.

And what someone else said already... No Toyota is worth 60 clams. (except maybe the new LF-A)

Nice and robust engine, but it looks just like the IS250 and IS350 minus the quad exhaust setup. It seems like you don't like it fully. Wait and buy something that you fully adore. Used GTR?

also imo those vossens look terribad on that car, but again, personal preferences vary.
Point well taken, but on the same hand, is a Nissan (GTR) worth $90k using that thought train?

BTW - I looked at IS before buying my G37, and it was no contest.

Usually if your on the fence about something that means that you dont really want to do it, which means dont do it. If you need the extra seats then go for it and sacrifice on the Wow factor, if its not about the room, and you just want a change, then for 60k and getting rid of a Z, I say no deal.
