I tried the actual key, it does unlock the door. You mean to tell me I would have to tow the car to the dealer just to have a fob

I tried the actual key, it does unlock the door. You mean to tell me I would have to tow the car to the dealer just to have a fob programmed for it. With all the technology you would think they could do that without the car being there.. no? Also the car is still under warranty wouldn't that fob be covered if it never worked?
