I'm just changing my oil at 1000 miles then redline here I come..
Although breaking a car in is optional and there's no factual evidence that makes your car perform better, do what you want, when you want, as you please. There's no HARM in going 1000 or 1200 miles before beating on the motor either.. I took mine up to 6k bursts but not redline yet.. I'm not concered that it's going to harm my car.. I redlined the piss out of my 2000 Prelude when I bought it brand new and it dyno'd more to the ground than a lot of people were making with the same exact mods on the SAME dyno. Do what you want, seriously! Jay |
