you could not get factory nav in the 40th. 33 seems alittle high.

I'd go for sub-$30k, but then again, I'm pretty agressive with my depreciation assumptions.

Per KBB, seems to be pretty fair - it's pegging that car at $36k private party, but that doesn't take the discounts Nissan was giving towards the end of the model year on the 40th's (and others).

holy ripoff. No deal. 2010 Z's were flying off the lots for UNDER 30k, OTD... and that was NEW.

Somehow I highly doubt that a $35K INVOICE car was flying off the lot at under $30K OTD......and if you're comparing a non-touring model to a 40th, then your comparison doesn't make sense. He needs to know what a new 2010 touring + sports + $1K extra for 40th was going for new to get a better assessment.

But ya $33K is too high for a used 40th.

^ You make a good point. However, in his case, it is indeed used, and granted mine was stickered at $34k for a base + sports, I paid well under 30 OTD, so yes, it does occur. Just have to know how to deal.

Regardless, $33k is indeed too high for a used 40th.

That's how much I paid for mines brand new with 68 miles on the odometer for 34K OTD...with the following:

5y / 75,000 mile warranty
5yr / 60,000 maintenance plus scheduled 1 package
40th Anniversary stuff
3m clear bra installed with installer of my choice

Without the extras, probably 31K OTD at most.

Hi Chuck... Yeah it just varies so much with the time u bought it, who u dealt with, and how willing u are to deal. U would be surprised at how much I got my Odyssey for.... Lol.

Depends on your area, but a quick search online showed that Kansas isn't over saturated with Z's, so a higher price tag than say...California is not totally crazy

like someone above said, try to offer 30-31 and work from there...have you seen many 40ths in the area?

Some of you guys are crazy to think that 33K is a horrible offer on a 40th touring. Maybe you don't realize that there are parts of the country where you can only find a handful of Z's in a 500 mile radius? When I got my Z I literally only paid 300 more than the TRADE IN price and that was still at 31k. I think some of you have some pretty crazy ideas of what a Z is worth these days. Or maybe they just sell them like candy in California and Florida, I don't know.

Prices vary greatly with location. In Atlanta, (March 2011), most people selling their 40th were asking between $34.5k-$37k used. Nobody would come off their price, and all of those cars had 4000-7000 miles. I found one in Houston, TX, with only 1500 well cared for miles. I gladly paid $32k and shipped it home.

I suppose a car is truly only worth what is fair in the buyer's eyes, but the prices thrown around this site are often laughable at best. Yeah, one or two people may have grabbed a steal, but that shouldn't be mis-represented as the norm.
