Since the OP is deploying and in the service, None of us have anything to say about family planning. That is a tough nut to be in and we wish you the best over there. Depending on how long you are gone, you should sell your existing car and sit on some cash or short term invest and save. Not having car insurance at 22 will really help. Pull the trigger on a good deal from a forum member or buy one when you get back. IMHO you are just losing money having the car sit there without the ability to enjoy it.
