kenchan you are so right. went by body shop today. rear bumper was in drying
room they had just finished painting it. the rear hatch switch was hanging loose from the back of the car. they said they replaced it with a new one and made some adjustments to the rubber springs on each side of the hatch. and now it pops up like toast from a toaster! Picking up my baby tomorrow afternoon. FYI shop foreman said this was the first time they had to remove a rear bumper and it was a xitch because they had to remove both tail lights to get to the screw's or bolts that hold the bumper together. hope that made sense... |
