I am about to drop some money on a new exhaust system but i cant help it but to wonder. Especially living in cali and in a cop infested city

I am about to drop some money on a new exhaust system but i cant help it but to wonder. Especially living in cali and in a cop infested city is kinda holding me back a lil. Anyone got cited for aftermarket exhausts yet?
