Cheap insurance. Got the head turn from the local bear when I drove by him this afternoon. The township I live in is hurting for money. I contribute enough thru taxes and such. No reason to give them anymore plus get some points on my license.

Some are saying that the Stillen front plate holder will bend after time from wind force and having it in that corner position over the grill will create drag. Those of you who went for the front plate holder using the tow sink, can you confirm any of the those claims?

i guess you need the one labeled 09-13 touring since 14 is the same.

this piece looks a lot thicker than the one i seen on Stillen's site.

Fast shipping, great packaging, only thing is removing the tow hook cover might be a little tricky, i was afraid i was going to break something but you just have to literally snap it off. make sure you tighten all the bolts so it doesnt come loose in future and you have to deal with a slanted plate

Thanks Zero appreciate all the info! I'm thinking I might just stay with the stock front plate holder. It'll be totally flushed\center lined and a little over the grill for air intake. Going to just go with the basics.

yep, i use the factory bracket and run front plate. no issue for me.

just make sure you dont use too long of a screw and make holes into the painted part of the bumper in case you might want to remove it down the road.

I thought the Stillen mount was very stout but I shortened the shaft and dropped the backing plate on the shaft to lower the plate slightly and to tuck it in a bit. The photos in my album show the finished look.
