Since I last posted in this thread, I've run over a dead lab probably 60-80 lbs on the highway at 70 mph on I-35 south of San Antonio. In the Z
All trucks in front of me that made no effort to avoid the carcass - they cleared it no problem. I pulled over immediately - no obvious damage. I called a nearby friend who has a shop in SA, and he was nice enough to let me put it on a lift right away for a more thorough inspection. All was ok - just really, really disgusting, so I headed off to my second appointment of the day in Lockhart. I cleaned up the mess the following weekend - not a fun task.
