My best friend owns a Gen. Coupe. I have driven it and it is O.K. Also, I have never seen the car turn heads and it is BRIGHT red. It just doesn't have the same "I can't stop looking" affect on people that the Z has. I personally think it is a good looking car and would be fun to drive if I didn't have the Z. I let my buddy do some spirited driving in the Z and he is currently selling the Gen. Coupe and is shopping for a new Z

I know a few people around here that have one and they're definitely head turners. Performance wise it's about the same as the Z. I'm curious on his reasons on why he's selling his Gen Coupe? Or did he already sell it and get a Z? Last edited by han_douche; 07-18-2011 at 02:49 PM. |

And the new scion isn't a bad idea. I don't think it was a TC being recommended. http://www.caranddriver.com/news/car...ws?redirect=no If I were not an aggressive driver I would be looking for the most fun in my speed range. 6cyl and 8cyl engines are boring under 80mph. The only problem with the Scion FT-86 is that it still doesn't have a release date, no solid info on engine specs or body weight. And probably most important is that all the hype on this car coupled with the fact that it's a Toyota means that no one will touch this car for under MSRP for a while. Chances are this car may even have a mark-up. In the end OP would probably end up paying the same amount for the Scion then he would for a Genesis.
