When to buy ?

Best price you will get is in Oct-Dec of the model year. If the car lasts beyond that, the dealership has to pay taxes on it, so they're really willing

Best price you will get is in Oct-Dec of the model year. If the car lasts beyond that, the dealership has to pay taxes on it, so they're really willing to let them go for peanuts at that point. Plus, sports cars don't sell well in cold weather, so it's less likely that they'll offload them at that point. And if you start looking in the middle of the month and save negotiation until the end of the month, you'll have them in a bind.

You can buy for well below invoice.
