I agree the blind spots on the Z are really bad and you have to rely on your side mirrors for the most part. I don't remember having any blind spot problems in the G, if there were it wasn't noticeable to me.

I considered both before purchasing my Z. The G has a few more toys than the Z most important one is the rearview backup cam. Believe it or not the two things that made my decision was headroom (my head banged the headliner when moving toward the window and the seat is narrower in the G. Bigger heavier car but I felt crowded!?
