I got the NAV and like it. I like the way it integrates into the console. Probably not worth the money in itself, but it saved me the headache of choosing, buying, and then installing an aftermarket one. Now that I have it, I like it, and like it's features. But then again, my only other NAV before this were handhelds.

You are not going to get a good answer here from this forum. I have it and think its great. No matter what is said by others there is no DOWNSIDE to the OEM Nav unit. It is well integrated and looks good.

If you can afford it, get it. It is expensive compared to portable GPS's but.......A portable GPS wont help the value of the car.

If you notice....the guy who said he did not want it.....has a base 370. My opinion is that the CHEAP guys....with little or NO money....will say its not worth it. These are also the same guys who have Ventus V12 tires on their cars and think they are good.....I have Advan Neovas and think think the V12's are cheap junk.

Whoa whoa whoa buddy.... Take it easy there bro. I think you're way off base in your comments there, sir. Just because I opted NOT to get the navi option means I'm "cheap" and have "little or NO money"??????????

You serious?

If I choose to spend my money elsewhere on other things that I deem more valuable, maybe not even Z related, that means I am CHEAP and have NO MONEY? LOL. $3k is $3k is $3k.

Dude, you crack me up. I'll let you keep thinking that. Don't mind the fact that I paid for my Z up front.

What a moronic post.

Not only that, it's downright insulting to those people (not only on this forum) who really did NOT have the $$$ to spend to get the Nav option. Why would you even put them down like that?

Nor will it hurt it. If you buy a vehicle with the Nav option, you have already put it in the extra $$$ to get it in the first place, where as those folks who did not get the nav option, did not spend the extra $$$. That's what you call a "sunk" cost.

True, a nav equipped vehicle may be worth more at value than a non-nav equipped vehicle, but at initial purchase, the nav-equipped vehicle cost more in the first place. So your statement is null.

Sometimes, folks are so eager to post without thinking. Spend a little time thinking about what you post... it will put you in a better light and give you more credibility.

Reminds me of a saying: "It is better to be silent and be thought of a fool than to speak and remove all doubt."

For the RECORD...I also paid cash for my car AND the $20,000 in upgrades. I dont agree with your thoughts on the Nav as MOST if not ALL finance or lease these cars and $3000 will make very little difference in the monthly payment.

I ALWAYS THINK FIRST and still think they are CHEAP!

Good for you that you paid cash AND the $20k in upgrades. Wonderful. Great.

In the end, that's fine if you think that way, but the way you come off, some folks (including myself) may/will find you with your nose way up in the air. Just show a little more class when you speak, and you'll be fine.

$20K in upgrades? Sounds like you purchased the wrong car.

I got the nav package (2010) and I love it. You really can't compare the sat nav with portable units. The built-in nav does not only use GPS. It also has a yaw sensor (to sense change of direction) and a connection to the speedo/odometer. That way you still get position information even if the GPS connection is lost. On occasion that causes the car to appear to be in the middle of a cow pasture, but usually (like in a tunnel) it is great.

The blue tooth is fine and I like the way the integration allows picking contacts from my phone's contact list, not just the list in the nav package. I had an aftermarket backup camera installed and it is integrated seamlessly into the nav package.

It's expensive. Is it worth it? That depends on you. I bought the touring Z with sport package and GPS. It had a sticker price of about $42k. I paid less, but not a lot less. It's worth it to me and I am very happy with the quality of the display and all of the added features.

Straight up and down, you are a wannabe. I can smell the (sh)it all the way over here. Base+ sport and NISMO are for the enthusiasts. You might wanna spend 3k on factory crap and think you are somethin hot. While someone else is spendin 25k in mods that you can't see unless you pop the hood. Where that leaves you? Wannabe! Oh and by the way. If you are never going to the track. V12's are more than enough for the street.

Wow as much of an ******* you sound..I agree with you with the tire thing lol.
I see all these wannabes thinking the evo12 is hot **** . It's a great tire for my wife's sedan not a sports car. Ihad it on my 335 and I hated it.

Go to clublexus.com you'll see how many racers in their is250 who loves the evo12s

Hmmmm, then in keeping in step with your theory whoever owns this Ferarri 599XX is evidently a cheap bastard because he/she didn't go with the integrated GPS.
