I really did like registration notices 60 days in advance, but these new rules just mean that California is becoming like its citizens.....lazy and more room for late fees.

The amount IS based on book value. I also have a 2011 Subaru Outback, and the renewal for that is $71. Both are due next month.

Can't wait to move back to Florida. I hate the Republic of VA that taxes you for everything...

I can deal with the hurricanes, grew up watching them in the Island.

Registration in the Rep of VA is not bad, about $65 with personalize plates. The freaking Property Taxes every six months kills me.

My 2011 Lexus had a property tax bill of 1100 a year, 500 is cheap (ct)
