Faint burning smell?

32k on my car and I get the smell occasionally too. Glad to hear its not uncommon

I am in the 7k mile with mine and it varies from burning rubber to burning new car smell depending on how I drive it. I always pass it off as the smell of awesome. According to all the posts I just read I will have an abundance of that for some time to come.
