My dealership might be doing the old bait and switch thing.what do you think.

got a email from them advertising buy 3 tires get the fourth for a dollar.
of course mounting and balance extra. kinda wondering what kind of tires
they are offering.... only reason i'm evening considering the deal is because i
don't trust any local tire shops in my area with my the 19in rays.

Yah watch out they are probably selling old stock.

I agree about getting tires at tirerack and installed at a speed shop that handles aftermarket wheels (or has a touchless mount machine).

I've always shopped online for the best tire I could purchase for the money I was willing to spend. The amount I pay in shipping outweighs the deals I was able to get locally. Then, upon arrival I'd always take the wheels to get mounted at the dealership. Win, win!

Many of the online tire stores will ship for free if you buy 4 tires or tire/wheel combos and in many states you'll pay no sales tax.

you do have to file it to your state during tax return though... just in case you didnt' know.

i buy literally tens of thousands in car stuff and music gear every year out of state so i file sales tax to my state.
