Had my 370 for just a year. Not a speck on it anywhere.
But i let my guard down today and just barely rubed up
against a curb. well you know where this is headed. i knew
these 19' rays were as soft as butter but damn i barley
touched it. so can anyone give some good advice on what
might work on buffing out the scratch's. Thanks for any help.

That sucks, sorry to hear that. Don't feel too bad, when I got my S2000 new a couple weeks after owning it I curbed a wheel while talking to my girlfriend (now my ex

). I spent $400 to replace the wheel and then about 1 year later just barely rubbed it while at a drive through. I've left it alone since and just came to terms with it.

I'm hoping (PRAYING) I don't scratch the Rays wheels but it happens. If you try to chase down every little scratch you'll go broke and insane.

I've scratched all four. I've adjusted to the wheels be expendable and something I'll fix when they get really bad. Otherwise, I'll get them refinished and I'll mess them up a couple weeks later all over again. Living in the city, it's hard not to.

My stock rear wheel was damaged a little during the tire patch repair. Should not have trusted these buttheads... we all have them sonic.

as spearfish said, just get them repaired all together maybe when you need new tires wrapped.

I have never hit a damn curb, yet I have scratches all over the rim. I honestly don't know where the hell they come from. Keeping a wheel clean is like trying to keep a pair of shoes you wear everyday clean.

It's not that it's soft, it's that 3200# of weight pressed an area that is jsut a few square cm up against an un-moving obstacle made of concrete while rotating it against it.

Yep it does, my Z and Max has them to. Whenever I wash them I'm like a new nick etc, and I have not hit any curbs etc...

true but any wheel you can pickup with a couple of fingers is light..
maybe not soft.. does anyone know what a 19' ray weighs........
