Even though this is for high mileage cars I feel there's some risk involved form using the product. That's my opinion. If your to a point of using this, I'd just rebuild my motor.

I've used it on my previous truck (before my Frontier). Smokes like crazy!

Don't waste your money, it is pointless for the Z (or most other cars for that matter) and could cause more harm than good.

Yeah, in conjunction with other things its part of what helped me get 31mpg out of my automatic g20 on my last roadtrip. The car ran smoother, idled better, and stopped throwing knock code. It had 120k on the clock. I would only do this on a car with lots of miles or one that never sees wot. The car felt a bit peppier. The engine blew 185 psi on 3 cylinders and 182.5 on the 4th. The engine is far from needing a rebuild.

It's snake oil. I've sold that junk for almost 20 years now. I'll never use it. Here's a good example of why.... I had the rep come in to show us this stuff. He said that it would completely clean fuel injectors. So he tried it on my manager's Tahoe. After he was finished, the engine wouldn't start. Fault codes from the ECU read misfire on all cylinders. So we cleared the codes and waited an hour. Tried again to start it..... nothing. We had to change the spark plugs and clean the now fouled injectors with our professional cleaner in our shop.

There is one good thing about SeaFoam though..... it will clean the bugs off your bumper really well.

to me that seems like your manager had something else wrong with his tahoe beforehand as i have used seafoam on both my previous V6 altima and my current 4 cylinder cobalt and never and i mean NEVER do that to either of the cars i have used it on. Alot of V6 altima owners on the nissanclub forums will swear by it too as it does a good job of cleaning out the carbon deposits in the engine from using cheap gas so in my opinion it is a fairly worthwhile product, but as for using it on a 370Z engine who knows what effect it may have if any.

I use it in my snowblower and lawnmower.

With that being said, I've also used it when storing my Z over the winter. I usually just put half the can in with a whole tank of gas. Car has never had problems.
