The cover does not have to be removed to change your oil. Just a few bolts and you can flap it back on the "hinge" that's molded into it, and use a bungee cord to hold it back so its out of your way.
For as often as you do oil changes, it's not that big of a deal unless you drive 5000 miles a week. Even then its simple & easy. No oil filter mess to clean up from the tiny trap door in the aftermarket metal options out there. |
