supercharger whine is a part of the supercharger exhausts wont make a difference, maybe just cover it up. so maybe a louder exhaust?

I agree with RCZ. I can't even hear mine if I have the radio on. I also have the Stillen exhaust and I think it is just the right volume but to each his own.

I agree the Vortech V3 is not as loud as other blowers out there. I have mine with fast intentions exhaust.

For me, it would be what I wanted to do with the car. I can get all the power I'd be comfortable with on an otherwise stock car out of an SC for far cheaper than a TT. I can get a lot more powewr out of a TT setup but would have to do extensive mods for the rest of the car to reliably handle it. TT is the high horsepower/high dollar solution, SC is the medium horsepower/medium dollar solution, and CAI/CATS/Exhaust is the low power/low dollar solution.

Well stated. Also, longevity, complexity of the entire system and driveability are considerations.

My Nismo is a daily driver, so I am guessing the SC would be the better choice. Just curious, but what kind of mileage is possible with the SC under normal driving conditions?
