I just noted today during wash and wax a significant number of new doors dings. In reality they are rock chips that occur during the massive amount of highway driving we do here in TX. It's a DD and that **** is gonna happen. I thought this thread was about crappy parkers... there are plenty of idiots who can park straight in their lines and still slam their door into your car

my paranoia is mild and only tied to our parking lot at work.

Yes, dents happen but it shouldn't happen as often as it does and especially when I'm trying very hard to avoid dents.

Try this. An old lady neighbor of mine constantly got dings from another neighbor. One day she just decided she has had enough, and she started to put up stickies on both sides of the windows saying "don't hit my car doors". Problem solved since.

For a Tercel not so much

Ok guys have to clear something up, Zonda's do not meet U.S. emissions and restrictions so not allowed in the U.S. so no chance of a Zonda ever parking next to anyone.

That's exactly why I would love to see a Zonda parked next to my car, even if he did park like a douche

If someone is driving a $100k, $300k, $500k+ car it is all right if they park next to me. I serious effen doubt that they would want, or cause a GD door ding. So please effen use some common sense. Somebody with a high end car is going to be effen anal with their ride.

I will bet they would care. That car probably took two spaces, so no POS would park next to him. Please go out & do a survey to see how many people that actually spend a couple to several hundred thousand would like to get their ride dings.

i care about door dings as much as the next guy, no matter what car i'm in. it's just the entitlement attitude here that's bothering me and others on here. who cares if they park next to you, no matter what car, as long as they didn't ding me, live moves on. it'd be another story IF they had ding me. i'm just saying a Ferrari, Aston, Porsche, insert expensive car here, can leave a good door ding as a tercel, accord, civic, whatever "POS" car car. i'd rather have a car enthusiast ricer park next to me than some housewife driving her AMG that could care less about other people's property.
