It looks like your Z is trying desperately to keep its distance!

It looked familiar. I used to live nearby in Anaheim and I went to that Costco quite often. Parking there is a bitch.

Left the office for a bit this morning and came back to this. The entire parking lot slopes from left to right about 15-20% (the blue truck in the background is actually level). I usually pull forward into this space and provide protection for the Cobra. Our parking lot with nine total spaces had only four cars in it when this guy showed up. Why he felt it necessary to back in to this particular space, I'll never understand.

That doesn't seam so bad. He didn't park too close to you or anything.

:iagree: he's not close to you at all... clean parking there.

But damn I want your Cobra. Sonic Blue FTW.

c41006 06-01-2011 01:37 PM

I think he is upset because his spot was taken

JARblue 06-01-2011 01:55 PM

Actually the biggest problem here is the guy BACKED into the space and the picture doesn't show the extreme slope. So as soon as this guy opens his door, gravity takes hold and slams it right into the Cobra. That's why the Cobra always parks in that last spot because typically people don't back into their spot (and I generally park next to him so he knows it's safe). We watched the guy get in his car and leave and have to give him props for being very careful (probably because he knew we were watching).

It's my co-worker's Cobra. Sonic Blue FTW indeed

Need pics of the Z and Cobra at work.

Can you say "Cobra" a few more times? Its just a mustang, there are hundreds of thousands of them...they're nothing special.

:iagree::shakes head:

A number of people will say the same thing about the Z (much to my chagrin). Every time I hear comments like that and its directed at something I said about my car it makes me cringe.

Samich 06-01-2011 08:42 PM

I'm glad it was diagonal parking, but seriously this parking job makes me want to throw up.:roflpuke2:

Samich 06-01-2011 09:31 PM

Yep, I couldn't pull in all the way either. Well I didn't want to anyway...lol

happytheman 06-01-2011 10:11 PM

Dude..was there no other place for you to park? I would've parked the next county over and walked back before I slid in to that spot!:icon17:

GRRRRRR.....This is the end row at the entrance to the parking lot so he didn't even have to turn his steering wheel to go into the spot.........and the tard still couldn't place it between the lines.

Yeah I could have parked in a very very crappy pot-holed parking lot for homeless people. And homeless people don't even have vehicles!

Well I am going to the range tomorrow since my bro wants a rematch after i kicked his @$$ yesterday. I forgot to save my target but this time i will not just so i can use it for a moment like this. I think Steve earlier in the thread mentioned using his target of a nice grouping and i thought it was quite the idea.

Cobra is shorter than mustang... it was for accuracy and efficiency. Haters gonna hate.

That is classic. I'm so proud of Seattle, just found out today that they have the authority to boot a car that's over the line. Watched it happen with a smug little grin

birdmanx1 06-02-2011 08:09 PM

I love it!!! still gutsy for those guys putting their cars on the way. I knew someone with angry problems who would have rammed those cars and deal with the insurance later :)

So I'm at Sherlock's with some friends. Nice wide open parking space. I park slightly off-center to the right (similar to everyone around me so as to keep even spacing). Couple hours later I have to walk out to this d-bag.

http://thejungle.ath.cx/370z/misc/parking/cp2a.jpg

I seriously wanted to repeatedly stab my darts into his doors, but sure enough it was beat to **** making it not worth the time. To top it off, as I'm getting in, I notice something in the back. Yup, his front bumper was in his pick up bed (sorry for the crappy camera phone out the driver window shot).

BeachBum 06-04-2011 12:49 AM

Hey now... drinking can be a rough sport. That bumper back there is simply a casualty... Brick mailbox's jump out in front of ya! LOL I assume Sherlock's is a bar? Just a guess, that guy probably had a pregame party at the house before the drive up there. Cheaper when out partying to just maintain the buzz than build it...duh! :bowrofl:

One of these days... He's going to do that to the wrong person and someone is gonna remove the rear bumper and throw it in there to keep that front bumper company, maybe the doors, tailgate, wheels... :stirthepot:
