The title of this thread threw me off a bit. I had a great uncle once and his name was Crappy Parker. Go figure.

Well, all I know is that when I test drove a 2011 370 touring/sports, yes, it was a tad noisy, but when I bought my Nismo I didn't have that issue, so to me anyway, I think it had something to do with the Bridgestones that were on the Touring and the Yokohamas are much more quiet, but hey, that's just my own personal opinion and if my order for the touring wasn't cancelled, then I would have been totally happy with it instead of the Nismo I settled for (although I do LOVE my Nismo!)

^ wrong thread?
It seems like every time i try to park in no mans land, about half the time someone takes a spot next to me. It really baffles my mind. Where can i get those pen1s stickers? |
My faith in humanity has been temporarily restored. Went to the store today, parked wayyyy out in no man's land, came out and just caught a glimpse of another car parked right next to me through a windshield. This was followed by some muttered obscenities, but when I arrived...shiny white 350Z sitting right next to me standing guard. Made my damn day

Yeah,I was reading that...glancing at the header of the page to double check which thread I was in..and then was like.....WHAT?:icon17: |
I was driving my brothers IS-F the other day, and some lady parked diagonally in a regular parking spot lol. I took a pic of her license plate only, just in case I come back to a hit and run!

I've shared this story before in a different parking thread, but figured I'd repeat:
A while back my girlfriend and I went to the pet store in my Z to pick some stuff up. I didn't park in the back of the lot, but kind of in the middle away from any cars. When we came out about 15 minutes later I noticed a bright red Ford F150 parked on my driver's side (I was facing inward and he was facing outward). He put his left side tires over the line (I was dead center) and left only ~12" of space between our cars. Surely the only way he could have gotten out of his truck was through the passenger side. Realizing I couldn't get in from the driver side, I decided I had to climb in through the passenger door. Now, I'm 6' and about 240, so me contorting myself to climb through the Z from the wrong side isn't exactly the prettiest sight! I finally make it over and plop down into the driver's seat and what do I see? The F-150 driver (a redneck looking type) and his girlfriend walking over laughing! So, I fire the car up, the girlfriend gets in, and I make full use of our metal door handles and open my door into his. Not sure if I left a mark, but mine was just fine, and I drove off (quickly). He went from :icon18: to  pretty quickly and I :icon17: as I :happydance: :driving: out of there. Bastard! |

I'd park next to you too if I liked my car. Oh, right... I do like my car. :tiphat: |
