What the hell is he doing? Stealing parts from other cars and piecing together another car. A door from this one, a hood from that one, hatch from from this one from over there, etc.

He probably only parks like that to draw attention to his car.

I'm guessing he probably put a good chuck of $$$ into that ... thing

If he's not going to have any taste, he could at least have some respect for other drivers

There was a version of the VW Golf that was sold like that from the factory. The wheels are aftermarket.

Hood is teal/turquiose on one and yellow on the other. Those are not the same colors

It was called Harlequin (1996) and came in various configurations of colours.

Very rare car. Only 264 were made and offered in 1996, mostly in the United States. As of February 2014, 113 of the original 264 Golf Harlequins have been found and documented. So it's more rare that some supercars.

So I would want to protect it as well. Hopefully, if the driver parks it like this, they at least did in the furthest reaches of the parking lot.

I know a local guy here in MN that has one brand new still with delivery miles only on it in storage, he sold/worked at a VW dealer and had it flat bedded from the dealer to his house for storage. He is also sitting on one of the last VR6 Corrados made parked right next to it.

Well then he gets what he gets. Clearly the guy needs to get over himself.
