because he already has a light weight Japanese v6 sports car. made by the same people none the less. idk about you but i would want something different. like a Z06. nice big v8 engine should have a nice mix in the driveway.

It really comes down to what he plans to do with it. For a track car, the Z is perfect. Plenty of power and parts are relativelly affordable to replace. The ZO6 is in the "same league" as the GTR. Performance wise, he already has a supercar. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind a Vette in my driveway, but a Lotus would be my choice.....

If I had deep pockets and already had a GTR, I'd look for a one of my all time favorite cars, the Porsche 356 speedster.

i see your point. BUT a Z06 is one hell of a car to mod. you can do A LOT with that car. its light weight, comes with a hell of a engine. LS7 v8. which with a few bolt ons can produce great gains. thats what i would do

Well, I wouldn't all the GT-R "lightweight", as it weighs 3,900 lbs...but I do like the idea of mixing it up.
