I parked next to a guy with a G37 coupe one time before going into a restaurant.. I sat down and next to me was a guy, and i kid you not, in a infiniti golf tee AND hat, so I said hey is that your G37 out there? He replies yea, are you the guy who found it necessary to park next to me even though there were 100 other open spaces?

I was perplexed and couldn't believe his response.. I did it because he was parked in the corner by himself, right where I would of chose to park , and figured hey why not park next to another nice car, ... this guy came off like he was in a Bentley and I parked next to him in some awful pos car with huge doors. like how would I dare think to park next to him...

I said something along the lines of I don't know what you think you are driving, but being a fellow car enthusiast with basically the same car but with two doors, you know I wouldn't ding your precious doors, just as I didn't think you would ding mine, and thought it was cool to park next to another nice car..

his response " I parked there so no cars parked next to me, you ruined that"

some people are just gigantic Dueches...

If i park by myself and another nice car parks next to me, I smile and enjoy that someone else is as anal as me .... its a normal thing to do imo.

That guy could have acted less of a douche.... Maybe he use to own an Audi.

If there are a lot of spaces open and see a nice car by itself, I usually park next to them also, but leave a space between us. Kind of like when you go into a restroom and leave a urinal stall between you and another guy. This guy probably had this same rationale.... like he was taking a leak and well....... You get my point. No excuse for him being **** towards other enthusiast though.

I always park at a spot with no cars. don't know why I do that. always did that even with my old clio.

I never had anything special park next to me.

except there is this stupid car that constantly likes to park next to me.

It surprises me how many people who own nice, yet very affordable (370, G37, Mustang, Camaro, etc.) cars tend to be gigantic douchebags. Some of them are even posting in this very thread!

Always back my Z into the space. Never park in the front of the lot. Never, Never take your Z to a supermarket parking lot. When mommy brings the little angels in her big SUV, they are the one's you have to watch.
