Keeping a distance and still get cut off?

I don't know if anyone else experiences this, but the more I try not to ride too close to people and keep a reasonably clear distance (to minimize rock chips),

Default Keeping a distance and still get cut off?

I don't know if anyone else experiences this, but the more I try not to ride too close to people and keep a reasonably clear distance (to minimize rock chips), the more I notice more people willing to pass me and cut me off and then ride in front of me..defeating the purpose of keeping a little bit of distance in front of me. I mean what gives, I'm certainly NOT driving under the speed limit!

Someone cutting you off costs you two seconds at the most. So let's get crazy and say you get cut off 30 times in your commute, it costs you a minute. So, in other words, it's not that big of a deal.

When people cutting you off gets you down, remember that you're going to die.

Ya'll crack me up. My point was that theyr'e originally behind me, then change lanes and then cut me off only to go slower than I am...which again defeats the purpose of keeping a little distance from them in front of me lol. I'm not worried about losing time, just don't want rocks thrown up at Nissans crappy *** paint.

actually, Frost's advice is pretty relevant to just about any situation huh? xyz got you down? don't sweat it, you're gonna die anyway.

OP--clear bra is the best solution to the rock chip issue if it bothers you that much.

It's you not cjeezy, it's your car Some drivers in MD & VA speed past you, get in front of you in your lane, slow down AND give you the WTF look when you pass them.

I wouldn't do that. The last time I cut off some loser who nearly T-boned my girl and I, he got out of his car, got back in the car, put the car in drive and rear-ended me then took off as soon as all 6'5 of me stormed out of the car fists clenched. No fun comforting your panicking girl, while reporting a hit and run to the police and while chasing some loser to get his license plate... Not worthy the time and effort, def learned my lesson on that one.
