Keeping a distance and still get cut off?

Sounds like some crazy drivers out there. I don't know about you guys but LA has moving wall issues.

Eg: wide open 4 lane highway and there just happen to be 4 cars (probably SUVs) taking up each lane all of them pacing each other at around 60 mph. On the rare occasion that the disparity in speed allows a gap for you to pass it results in having to cut off the car that's slightly slower. FURTHER more if you start to speed up so you can get around the slower car the driver will speed up to BLOCK you. I still can't determine if this is conscious or they see something going faster in their peripheral and they're suddenly like "SQUIRREL!".

IMO if you're part of this moving wall (on purpose or inadvertently) then you deserve to be cut off. If not then people are just ******** where you live. Lol.
