when you drive your car and come to a stop sign or a red light on a bumpy or uneven road does your cars steering wheel pull to one side. Doesnt matter which side it is but mine usually pulls to the left about 5-6 inches.
i wanna know how many people have experienced this. |

Since we both reside in California I can say that a highway that have been modified whereby additional lanes have been added, and the concrete road bed has been strafed with rain grooves provides an interesting joyride as the 370Z will follow the old road course, but this is standard for such a tire/rim setup as ours. The distinctive pulling to one side at a stop is not.
Have you checked your tire pressures, and alignment?

Are you saying, having offset size tires cause that?

Meld both alan93rsa and my posts together and we are both aiming for the same explanation. The rain grooves will pull your tires in a direction. I meet up with this at the 91 and 57 crossroads where the Z simply started changing lanes as it was following old lane grooves after Caltrans had changed the road. Weird feeling to say the least. If you ride a motorcycle it can be even worse.

I've noticed this too...it's rather dramatic when it happens. However, I've only noticed it when stopping on a road with rather prominent tire groves. My alignment and tire pressures are spot-on, so it's definitely a road-tire interaction under certain circumstances.

Tramlining is worse with wider tires so I would expect those with the sports package to get it worse. I widened my fronts to 275 so the tramlining got a little worse.

Sounds like the tires are the problem.
Just came back from the Nissan dealer alignment issue / car pulling to one side
