Question for all the 370z Owners

Since we both reside in California I can say that a highway that have been modified whereby additional lanes have been added, and the concrete road bed has been strafed with rain grooves provides an interesting joyride as the 370Z will follow the old road course, but this is standard for such a tire/rim setup as ours. The distinctive pulling to one side at a stop is not.

Have you checked your tire pressures, and alignment?

i know my alignment is off for sure and nissan dealers cant do anything about it but the tire pressure i didnt check yet. but i will tomorrow.

How is the steering/handling it self with the "rain grooves"?

Are you saying, having offset size tires cause that?

Meld both alan93rsa and my posts together and we are both aiming for the same explanation. The rain grooves will pull your tires in a direction. I meet up with this at the 91 and 57 crossroads where the Z simply started changing lanes as it was following old lane grooves after Caltrans had changed the road. Weird feeling to say the least. If you ride a motorcycle it can be even worse.

I had a 1990 Sentra. Freeway rain grooves, the front end would catch and twitch. It was like the seam of the tire, was riding in the rain groove. It was nerve wrecking sometimes.
