If the offer was an even trade for a g37 coupe I would do it. But i didn't want to dump any more money into it.

Chage color to silver- less of a cop magnet then red
Automatic - I can eat and drive at the same time
Nismo has too much road noise.

The dealer is correct - it's a used car
You know what they say about the value of your car as soon as you drive it off the lot. Well, they say it, because it's actually true.

Live and learn, cars are not like other things you buy, you just can't take them back and get purchase price refunded.
Next time do a little bit of research before you spend 40 grand

I would try and arrange a private transaction with another person. That's the best way to do this.

This depends on where you are. In my state, you have 72 hours to return a purchase item for a full refund.

You might take a small loss on it but you can certainly sell it and get the one you want.

Any Z will attract attention if it's doing something illigal, just like any other car. We just have the problem of 'looking' fast. Color is of little concern.

If you're going to be eating and driving, please tell me on which roads so I can avoid them. :ugh2:

Z's by nature will have road noise. This can be lessened by getting different tires, dynamatting, turn up your stereo, roll down the windows... nom nom something. It's meant to let you feel the road through all your senses...

It's meant to be enjoyed. If it's not something you like I have to ask, did you even take it for a test drive??? :icon08:

And to the comment about thinking before buying. I fell in love when I saw it on the lot. It was just too sexy I couldnt resist

Remind me never to bring my woman around you... :ugh2:

Yet you're going to anyways no matter what you do. So the best thing you can do is hold what you have which is a little unique, and adjust the ride to suit you. Instead of taking a loss, then changing your mind later on and wanting a PG or Black Z. :icon14:

Really? You can do that with cars here in MD? Does there have to be a good reason for it or can you do it without a reason?

OP your best bet would be to find someone who will do a private trade. I might have done it, but I can't drive manual and my parents would probably kill me. Another option would be to get it painted or wrapped in vinyl for the color issue. The other reasons are kind of stupid IMO. Choose your food wisely and turn up the stereo and your problems are solved

shadoquad 03-15-2011 03:05 PM

upon further inspection, I was mistaken. You can only return it if it's a lemon.

there's no buyer's remorse period?

karotZ 03-15-2011 03:40 PM

OP, I know this isn't going to help but I am making my Z as noisy and annoying I can make her to be. :roflpuke2: Oh and I will be vinyl wrapping it OEM red soon...

I would trade my 40th with your red nismo, but mine is still MT6... and haz lotz of modz and iz louder...

Andyy 03-15-2011 03:52 PM

Does it count as a lemon if my back window rattles when I drive?

Lemon Laws vary from state to state, but the vehicle needs to be pretty severely damaged, and they have to have tried to fix it several times, in order for it to qualify in MD.
